cGIS TECHNOLOGIES took part in the international forum-exhibition “Russian Industrialist”, which took place on November 26-28, 2024 at the Expoforum in St. Petersburg.

The Russian Industrialist exhibition is the central platform for demonstrating advanced technologies and solutions for the industrial sector. This year's event gathered more than 470 leading companies and enterprises of key industries, as well as more than 35,000 industry specialists from industrial regions of Russia and about 30 international delegations.

cGIS TECHNOLOGIES was an exhibitor, presenting the cGIS PRO web platform, which allows creating a “Digital Twin” covering all infrastructure objects. The platform is designed to solve the problem of disconnectedness and incompatibility of various industry ecosystems and eliminates dependence on specific manufacturers, significantly reducing the time required for management decisions. A distinctive feature of the solution is the ability to visualize and analyze complex spatial data, including capital construction information models (BIM) and laser scanning point clouds, in a web interface. Visitors to the company's stand had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the demo stand cGIS PRO, as well as to discuss possible cases of implementation.

As part of the business program, Alexander Stavitsky, General Director of cGIS TECHNOLOGIES, made a presentation on the importance of the Common Information Space for improving the efficiency of infrastructure management. The speech aroused keen interest among the present specialists due to the proposed approach of using the cGIS PRO platform to integrate all available spatial and descriptive data and documents, fully solves the problem of vendor-specific independence, providing the ability to manage the territory at all stages of the life cycle. Alexander described possible use cases and shared feedback from Customers on successful implementation of the solution, which demonstrated the ability of the cGIS PRO platform to flexibly adapt to the changing demands of the industry.
