On April 22–24, 2026, experts from "SIGIS TECHNOLOGIES" (VS Laboratory Group) spoke at the All-Russian Forum "Digital Transformation and Territory Development Management". The event brought together over 200 representatives of regional executive authorities and their subordinate organizations, as well as representatives of departments responsible for GISOGD and digital transformation. Among the speakers were top officials from the industry: Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation K.A. Mikhailik and head of the National Association of Organizations in the Field of Information Modeling Technologies (NOTIM) M.V. Viktorov. The event traditionally became a platform for discussing the most pressing issues of territorial digitalization: from the introduction of BIM technologies to the integration of GISOGD data.

The central thesis of the presentation is that fragmented data and the lack of a unified environment for analysis are no longer a problem. The cGIS Pro platform solves the task of integrating heterogeneous data at the platform core level. Digital terrain models (CMM), digital information models (CIM), data from IoT sensors — all this exists in different formats, systems, and departments. cGIS Pro not only collects them on one map but also coordinates all elements, turning the map into a live working environment.
Guests of the forum were able to immerse themselves in the technical capabilities of the cGIS Pro platform at the company's exhibition stand, as well as get acquainted with real examples of using cGIS Pro for territory management at the workshop.
Using the example of a pilot project for a digital twin of the Primorsky Krai, a solution was demonstrated that integrates the regional GISOGD data, the Pilot-BIM common data environment for construction, laser scanning results, and information from open sources. Key scenarios for using the platform were shown: working with heterogeneous data, using a digital twin in everyday tasks of ministry and institution specialists.
Participants could observe in real time how the platform processes requests, switches between layers, and provides analytics. The system's performance was noted separately - even when working with point clouds, the interface remained responsive.
Forum participant's comment: «The administration console is a separate pride of the developers. Everything is intuitive: project management, access rights, connecting new data sources. You don't need to be a system administrator to figure it out».
The practical demonstration of the cGIS Pro AI assistant, which allows you to formulate queries in natural language and receive analytical results on spatial and semantic data, including regulatory documentation, aroused particular interest.
The assistant acted as an «intelligent information filter»:
- transformed a regular text query (for example, «find all construction objects in the flood zone») into correct spatial and attributive filters within cGIS Pro;
- took into account the context of the task (territory, scale, data source) and proposed several options for analysis or visualization;
- generated reports and cartographic conclusions that can be used in preparing decisions by authorities and relevant departments.
Thus, specialists without in-depth knowledge of SQL or complex geo-tools were able to independently ask questions about the data and receive a ready-made analytical report needed for quick preparation for discussions and meetings in a matter of seconds. Previously, such scenarios required the participation of an entire team: a GIS engineer, an analyst, and a subject matter expert. The cGIS Pro AI assistant allows one person to do this work much faster.
The forum participants noted several key advantages of the platform:
- lowering the entry barrier: working with data without in-depth technical knowledge.
- speed of decision-making: real-time analytics rather than days of preparation.
- unified environment: consolidation of data from different departments and systems.
- transparency: all decisions are recorded and can be reproduced.

Following the forum, it became obvious that the Russian market for digital twins of territories is making a qualitative transition from pilot projects to industrial implementation. Modern digital twins are not just visualizations on a map, but a tool that significantly accelerates and improves the efficiency of management decisions.
cGIS Pro has long gone beyond the framework of a classic GIS platform, becoming a full-fledged tool for analytics and support for management decisions. The integration of the AI assistant has opened up new possibilities for working with multi-aspect data. cGIS Pro is a solution that, judging by the reaction of the participants, has every chance of becoming an industry standard in the field of spatial data management.
