The event, which took place on February 13-14, 2025 at the Artcourt Moscow Center Congress Center, brought together more than 500 Russian and foreign subject matter experts. The conference became an important platform for professionals and experts to demonstrate advanced solutions in the field of geospatial technologies, industry digitalization and infrastructure planning, representing an industry hub for discussing innovations and best practices.

The exhibition showcased technologies and equipment for digital aerial photography and photogrammetry, laser scanning, data processing, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for territory mapping and monitoring. Special attention was paid to solutions for creating digital twins of objects and territories, which is one of the key trends in modern industry and urban management.

One of the most significant events of the conference was the section “Geoinformation Systems and BIM”, where Mr. Alexander Stavitsky, CEO of cGIS Technologies Alexander Stavitsky presented a report on the topic: “Successful experience of creating a digital twin of the territory using GIS data, DEM, BIM-models and laser scanning point clouds on the cGIS Pro platform”. The report aroused keen interest of the participants due to the proposed integrated approach to managing the life cycle of the territory - whether it is an industrial holding, a municipality or a constituent entity of the Russian Federation.

The main advantage of the presented solution was the use of existing information systems without the need to replace them or migrate data. This allows the availability of a digital twin of the territory through a web interface, which has no limitations on the amount of data and the number of users.
